A quick an easy low calorie shrimp dish. This one is big on taste and low on effort.
- 1/4 lb cocktail shrimp
- zest from one lemon
- sprinkle cayenne pepper
- sprinkle cinnamon
- salt and pepper to taste
Heat shrimp in medium skillet.
Add lemon (or orange) zest, cayenne pepper and cinnamon.
Stir until warm throughout. Serve and then season to taste with salt and pepper.
Most of the time cocktail shrimp is already cooked so you’re just warming it up.
I used the juice from the lemon on steamed asparagus.
