April Month 2 on #keto (low carb, high fat). Down 17.6 lbs.
It was down 20 lbs but I’ve had 3 incidents of “cheating” that bounced that back up.
* Early in the month when I commuted into SF I got my regular affagato (espresso and gelato). I’ve fixed that issue and confirmed that a latte breve is just as excellent so I’ll change over to that instead.
* Twice we ate out. The first time was to a BBQ place and in addition to my chicken which was slathered in barbeque sauce I also ate the ceasar salad and some of the baked beans. The second time was at Macaroni Grill and I had WAY too many of the goat cheese stuffed peppers.
* I also had one giant carb day when I sampled some of the chocolates Google sent home with me. Naughty!
So ok. The graph is a bit depressing. I’d be more annoyed about this if I hadn’t seen such a drop in inches. I’ve lost 0.05 inches off my neck, 1.8 inches off my waist and 1.75 inches off my hips.
My stress level has dropped this month. We had a lot of things which resolved.. but I’m also just internalizing less stress. I’m no longer finding myself searching for coping mechanisms. We have also kicked off a huge yard project. It turns out that MFP thinks gardening burns tons of calories. Hooray for moving rocks.
